Assignment - Invention, Intellectual Property, and Income

1)Purpose

1)To make such device which is open source, portable and can define light
in accurate term as well as differentiate energy consumption per wattage

2) Often light is described in qualitative terms (Dim light or bright) due to no availability of light measuring instruments.

3) Idea is to Make our own lux meter to measure quanity of light.

4) The device will be education aid while learning about physics, light and digital fabrication.

3)Motivation and Income

This project encourages school children to make their own light measuring instruments.

New application and usage of light measurement will be explored. For e,g. Sufficient light need to be maintained
in Polyhouse and Poultry business. Lux meter will help to quantify the need and able to take appropriate action.

2) schools teachers use this activity for providing training to students about curricular
topics in physics and electronics. as in instructable format for lux meter.

3) It will be useful to make it locally from easily available component. It will cheaper.
It will find many application in the field of photography, decorations, polyhouses, dryers, solar devices etc where light intensity matters.

My device is SIMPLE , low cost,open source and all components easy available from local market. It can be easily made in the fab labs.
